Tassie Time
Posted by ben on 4th December , 2009Hi all, well i am down in not so sunny Tasmania for a few days. I am cooking for a group of people who helped support the heart foundation by buying a dinner cooked by me. I am looking forward to it! I am going to cook the Snowy morrison inspired hot smoked salmon (seemed the right thing to do in Tassie) as well as my BBQ tandor spice leg of lamb amongst other delicious things. I am also down here catching up with an old mate who has recently had a baby boy with his beautiful wife Ruby! Yes that’s two ruby’s but the scary thing is this mate is the guy I named my son Herb after before they met and now there are two Herb and ruby’s. Also hoping to catch a few brown trout while i am down here!!!

Enjoy Tassie!!! I love the fresh air down there, even though it’s not too sunny =) ohhhhhh~~Snowy morrison hot smoked salmon is beautiful, I’ve tried it without the hot smoke and it was already beautiful, imagine if its hot smoked! yum~~
Congrets on the new born baby, Love the double up names, you can just call out 1 name and both will respond!!
Nice Work if you can get it , Saw you on the telly – doing a quick cook up for Xmas at Bondi – looked like you were having some serious fun, have o eb saying the Santa suit – did not help your surfing style, probably would have done better with a few schooners at the icebergs. Haha.
