Hi,
Have watched your shows for years and have taken inspiration from alot of your cooking. Really enjoy “The Best” both the UK and OZ shows have been excellent. It’s how cooking should be, relaxed, passionate, fun and feeding friends.
I’m a cop of 10 years working in Sydney. Grew up in the restaurant game as my father was a chef and restauranteur. As a consequence I was taught by him and have owned my own restaurant since. I’m passionate about food and my greatest pleasure in life is feeding the people I love. My dream is break back into the food game and I plan a 2 month research and cooking tour throught turkey and the mid east some time this year.
All “the best” Ben.
Kind regards
Attila
G’day Ben
Gotta say I love Surfing the Menu .I trust overseas audiences would get a huge kick out of it and us Aussies need a reminder now and again about how good we have got it here. It’s great to see your raw passion with seafood and our marine animals as it is a huge part of my life as well.
I heard a whisper that you were looking at opening a restaurant in Bris Vegas.
Is this still on the boil? If so please give me a heads up as I represent some fantastic sustainable Aussie seafood and would love to show you.Anyway check out my unfinished web site if you get a chance and please keep on telling it how it is.
Cheers Jason
Hi Ben!
My name is Emilia and I’m professor at Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México. I’m working on an academic paper about food, lenguage and literature. I have seen some of your tv show and read some of your books. I wish have an interview with you some day.
All the best.
Hi Ben,
This is Alex. I met you at the Food and Wine show in Brisbane a few weeks ago.
You were at the BBQ’s Galore stand and I helped you make some pizzas. I wanted to tell you about my cooking class I went to with my school cooking teacher. I learnt to make Tapas and I enjoyed the olive paste also a fish one I made.
Tonight I made up my own recipe and cooked a chicken, butternut pumpkin and mango stirfry with some asian spices and rice. My mum said it was great!
Our family are having our family Christmas picnic on Sunday and I am going to make some Tapas.
I have watching your cooking shows on foxtel and I want to make a duck dish you cooked. I can’t wait.
When we met in Brisbane you said I could come in and do some work experience. I really would love to do that and want to keep in touch with you.
Mum and I want to know where to buy the shredded pastry you used when you cooked the prawns at your cooking show in Brisbane.
Thanks for the great time at the show. I will speak to you soon.
Hi Ben,
I will be cooking the prawn dish you did at Black Pearl at the beginning of the month. I haven’t had any luck finding the Turkish Filo you used. Does Black Pearl sell it or can you tell me what deli might. I will be trying Delta Continental at Westend next week when I get back into town.
Cheers Your oldest Staker
